snowflakes

in various forms of being

or signs that there were flakes there

once

and some have even made it to the other side

and

ARE!!!

and the sound of a 'potty mouth' is around too...

if you want to make your flake stiff

but you can see how big/small 

the mat is

it's a lot less bunchy than it was

and to answer the question about

if you wash it do you have to block it again

the answer is

YES...

yes you do

but if you're a spoilt brat

 such as moi

you can do it again

and some things just need blocking

and you don't actually have to have anything other than a towel and some pins

and 

a lot of patience

don't sweaters and such have to be re blocked when they are washed

I guess the secret to this is

don't get it dirty

and you won't have to wash

all I wanted to do today 

was nap

really lousy photos...

the light is rubbish so I have little choice

anyway...

I made a doily with the copper coloured cotton 

I used to make the mat

the mat is blocking at the moment so it's still not ready for its close-up!!!

and after I took these I blocked the doily too

hey, have blocking mats

 must use 

right!!!

I was going to do a post yesterday but I didn't have a monitor for a while 

(a longer while than I thought)!!!

 nothing dramatic happened

just a new purchase by husband

and a hand me down monitor for me

it's much bigger and brighter than the old one and it takes some getting used to

let me tell you

the colours are almost neon on some pages

even though all the adjusting has been done

think it's just that some people really do use

almost neon colours

anyway...

now there's more real estate to peruse upon

all your photos and blog pages and pinned boards

are bigger and brighter and more

bee-you-tea-full

you colourful creative crowd

oh... the husbands new monitor is

touchable

it's like the smart phones

you have to touch it to make the pages swish

sounds like a real pain the back to me

 and I will taa daa the mat when it's done which should be any time now as it's taken much too long because I keep seeing more and more flakes and stopping to make another because I seem to be obsessed with making flakes
