a little bit of silly is needed

and I'm really good at silly

I can't make myself look at the pictures anymore
the news today about the plant exploding is too much to think about
and the thought of what they have gone through makes it hard to breath

so while I was going through the papers on line
I came across this silly thing

no I will not be attempting it
I have very little interest in the wedding
for some reason
when Diana got married I was glued to the TV
and I got up in the middle of the night to watch it

but I was young and it all seemed so fabulous
!!!!
see.....silly

this time
this is more how I see it
don't you love the bishop's 'at?!!!

!!!!!

  1. Ha-ha! That is crazy and yet amazing! :) I'm with you on the wedding. A whole lot of hype for nothing. I never did get into the celebrity thing. Never thought anyone was all this or that. There are some celebrities I admire for the work they do outside of acting or singing or whatever their profession is, but I don't put them on a pedestal. I cried and cried when Diana died, but am in a different place now -- and I probably would not react the same way I did back then. People are just people. I'm watching news about Japan now. It is quite distressing. Sending good wishes and hugs your way. Tammy

  2. I remember Charles and Di's wedding vividly - I was about 4 or 5 years old. My Dad was in the RAF at the time and we were living in quarters in Wiltshire at the time. I remember him coming home with a HUGE box full of Wagon Wheels (the chocolate sweet bar not real wagon wheels!) and little plastic Union Jack flags - we sat and watched the whole wedding waving our flags and eating Wagon Wheels!

  6. My friend emailed me this the other day! I love it! so cute haha! We're having a garden party - not because we have any real interest, but because we love cake and will use any excuse to get out the buntin and have a reunion. They are so few and far between now were all responsible adults :S haha.
