Surprise from Az...

This is something that got
"drafted"
and didn't publish......

When I got home on Sunday
there was a package waiting for me on my desk
in the
roomontheleft.
Inside was a magnificent surprise
from
Andigal
Andi is a sweet young thing who lives in Arizona
and I met her on Flickr
I make wise cracks on her photos
and she laughs at them!!
We visit each others blogs
and
have traded a few emails here and there
her blog is

her sister can't knit, so Andi makes things and her sister
basically takes them home with her!!!
take a look and see what the young ones do nowadays
knit and crochet in the sports bar
while enjoying a football game
 a Guinness
 and fish and chips
with your girlfriends......
LOVE IT!!!!

Anyway

this is what was inside the package
the most delicate blue wisp of a scarf

that she had made for ME
I cannot tell you how touched I was that she had spent time on this
and what a beautiful thing it is
I have no idea what the yarn is
(I will ask, or she can say in a comment!!!)
but it's like spiders web
only blue
Thank you Andigal
again
and again!!!
and
one more time!

I also found a bunch of flowers on the newly grouted countertop in the kitchen
the resident tile man had removed and re grouted while we were gone
and more importantly

a little chocolate cake
for my birthday
we ate it!!!
What a nice homecoming!!!
