New Week...

new day
to start all over again!!
Hope you all had a nice
weekend and that you got to do something you wanted and relaxed.
Not much of anything to say
today.
I spent most of the time
trying to do the things that need doing
and
finding them very boring and mundane
I did them as fast as I could
and
then picked up hook and thread
and my new book
put a movie on
and
made two things from it.

The flower is really pretty....
it's supposed to be a brooch
and the bag is a tad smaller than I thought
but they are both
satisfactory!!
I think I will line the bag
but have no fabric so I'll have to get
inventive....
pillow cases anyone????
There has been discussion
on Flickr
about whether or not
the cloths
that everyone
and their sisters
are making
should be used
or just hung up to look pretty.
Not a very important
subject,
I know,
but why go to all the bother of making them
if you don't use them?
Now the elaborate,
be-flowered
frilly
things
maybe not so much,
the fru-fru gets in the way
but the plain and simple ones
well I say
YES
it saves on paper towels
always a good thing
and those throw away things
that smell after a while...
eeww!!
and the cotton ones are washable
and if you make a few
you always have a clean one
and
another colour to choose from
which
IS
important!!
Because heaven forbid
we don't have a choice.
Do you know how
spoilt we are?
I do.
