Thar's a storm a brewin'

The wind is blowing and the clouds are coming in and it is as hot as Hades out there. But for you I braved the heat and wind and went on my walk and came back with these.....

The lovely ladies are all open

for business

The rho-do-den-rons

are in full bloom

and are

spectacular this year.

The wind was blowing the scum and pollen on the lake.

Made me think of the disaster in La and all those poor animals

and those lost.

So sad.

The knotted chain is from when we had a swing

(made from our first water bed)

The resident carpenter made the swing out of the frame!!!

The beechnut, down there in the middle,

 is so tall you have to stand this far away to get it all,

and maybe soon we can sit in the very dirty chairs

and veg

in the tall grass

that is full of gross whoknowswhats.

So back inside I came

and it feels good!!!
