late afternoon sun...

here

lots of geese floating on the water
there are new comers and old ones and a group of the babies
just chillin' in the sun
seems it was a lovely day today so I took a little meander outside
when the sun was getting low and the shadows were getting long and sharp
inside the shadows did their thing too
on the shells and the pine needles
on my desk with the new edging I just found and HAD to try
will show you some other time
now it's time for fabric and sun and shadows
and black eyed susans
and
bright bee balm
and the ever present
gooses

  1. That edging is adorable! Do tell! I find myself absorbed in edgings lately! Just finished a new blanket that had an edging on it that was a new one for me. Fun stuff! Love your views - and all the geese. I get such a kick out of them...as long as I'm not too close to one of their nests and being chased by one! LOL When we first moved here 8 yrs ago, we were enthralled by the ducks and geese at the local watering hole. We'd make our coffee and just go sit on a Sunday morning...watching them swim by with their babies...so peaceful. We're still enthralled but don't make the time for those Sunday morning coffee outings. Shame on us! Have a great day...the heat is coming. Ugh. Yesterday was soooooo gorgeous! Hugs, Annette
