he got this sweet little shuttle for me to tat with

even tho' I still can't use it...and believe me 

WE have tried and I mean

husband gave it a go this morning and he couldn't do it either

 so I will give it a rest and keep up with the needle

and she makes it look so easy

and it actually is

once you "get" it

and I will get it one day

just not today

or yesterday or the day before-last-week either!!!

and a couple of weeks ago I got this

a late Solstice/Christmas/early valentine/happy president's day gift!!!!

a tiny teeny terrarium on a chain!!!!

he figured a few little plants would brighten up the winter!!!

he loves tiny things

(I am not a tiny thing ...by any means!!!! )

 but he gets me tiny things

all the same...

and I'm sure you know how quickly one accumulates stuff when something new is introduced into ones

repertoire

and we all have a repertoire don't we?

so I bought a pretty box to put the thread and books and stuff in because I got tired of it all piling up and falling down again

and the pattern reminds me of tatting

well I didn't notice that until I had it home and on the desk!!!

one track mind

one more round of goodies were got

anyway two books arrived

one I knew about the other 

not so much

I copied that doily there from a picture I saw somewhere

so I got the book because I'm not sure how to do the last row even though I got really really close all by myself

he ordered the other book too, without me knowing

it has jewelry in it

not sure I'll be making any of that

and all I have to say about it

it isn't blue!!!

it's a lovely bowl 

and I appreciate the thought 

completely and utterly

but
