I thought I thaw a thaw...

the temperature rose high enough to cause fog

a fog bank rose just above the remaining ice

fabulous

this was too

and this ever present sight these days

:)

such a beauty...

and then

HE 

came 

back 

with 

this

the sound of  gentle sobbing is heard

thought we were in for a thaw...

 the world started to look like it should

for just a moment...

snow receding 

clouds parting

and room to move on the lake

lots of flying in and flying out

the patch of pond weed available again

 you can just see the white posterior of the swan by the tree

as a newly landed gaggle glide by......
